Importing and Exporting
MacGourmet easily imports recipes in MasterCook, MasterCook Mac, and Meal-Master formats, in addition to the many other formats listed below. This gives you instant access to thousands of recipes on the web.
Additionally, you can export in MasterCook and Meal-Master formats, so you can share recipes with your friends still using a Windows-based recipe application. (What, they haven’t moved to the Mac yet?!?).
MacGourmet also offers import and export using its own file formats, which makes sharing recipes with other MacGourmet users a breeze. Whether you share them using email, or publish them to your .Mac account using the publishing feature of MacGourmet, exchanging recipes couldn’t be easier.
Have an iPhone and a .Mac account? Try downloading the iPhone Web App exporter. It allows you to export your recipes in a format that you can then upload to a web server. Voila, a recipe app for your iPhone, made with YOUR recipes.
